Day 1: Arrive in Chengdu
Arrive in Chengdu from your home city (by flight or train). Your personal driver will meet you at the airport or railway station and transfer you to your hotel in downtown Chengdu. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city on your own – perhaps try some hotpot or stroll along Jinli or Kuanzhai Alley on your own. Overnight in Chengdu.Day 2: Jinsha Site Museum – Taikoo Li & IFS – Wuhou Shrine – Jinli
After breakfast, visit the Jinsha Site Museum, one of China's most important archaeological discoveries from the ancient Shu civilization (over 3,000 years ago). Admire the exquisite gold, jade and ivory artifacts. Next, head to Taikoo Li and IFS, Chengdu's premier luxury shopping district. See the famous giant panda climbing the IFS building and enjoy the blend of traditional Sichuan-style streets with modern architecture. Afternoon, visit Wuhou Shrine, a temple dedicated to Zhuge Liang, the legendary military strategist of the Three Kingdoms period. Then stroll through Jinli Ancient Street, a bustling pedestrian street lined with traditional shops, teahouses and snack stalls. Overnight in Chengdu.Day 3: Chengdu Panda Base – Sichuan Cuisine Museum – Kuanzhai Alley
After breakfast, drive to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, the world's leading panda conservation center. Watch giant pandas (and adorable red pandas) playing, eating bamboo and resting. In the morning feeding time is especially lively. Afternoon, visit the Sichuan Cuisine Museum, where you can learn about the history and ingredients of Sichuan cuisine, watch a cooking demo, and even taste a traditional Sichuan banquet ("panda-themed" snacks available). Then head to Kuanzhai Alley (Wide and Narrow Alleys), a historic district of beautifully restored Qing-dynasty courtyards, now filled with teahouses, boutique shops and local eateries. Overnight in Chengdu.Day 4: Travel to Chongqing – Yangtze River Cable Car – Danzishi Old Street – Yangtze Ferry – Jiefangbei – Shancheng Trail – Hongyadong
After breakfast, take a high-speed train from Chengdu to Chongqing (approx. 1.5 hours, train ticket included or arranged by us). Upon arrival, your Chongqing driver will meet you. Start your Chongqing exploration with the Yangtze River Cable Car, offering a panoramic view of the two rivers. Then visit Danzishi Old Street, a restored riverside old town with stilt houses and great views of the Yangtze. Take a traditional Yangtze Ferry across the river to experience local commuting life. Next, head to Jiefangbei Monument, the symbolic heart of Chongqing's downtown, surrounded by bustling shopping streets. Walk along the Shancheng Trail (Mountain City Trail), a historic pathway that winds through old neighborhoods with steps and narrow alleys, offering a glimpse of old Chongqing. Finally, in the evening, visit Hongyadong, a spectacular complex of stilt houses built on a cliff, brilliantly illuminated at night – a must-see Chongqing icon. Overnight in Chongqing.Day 5: Ciqikou – Zhazi Prison – Baigongguan – Light Rail Passing Through Building – Eling Creative Park
After breakfast, visit Ciqikou Ancient Town (Porcelain Village), a lively ancient town at the foot of Geleshan Mountain, famous for traditional snacks, old teahouses and souvenir shops. Then head to Zhazi Prison and Baigongguan, two former prisons that played a tragic role during the Chinese Civil War. They are now memorials telling stories of revolutionary martyrs. Next, go to Liziba Light Rail Station, where the Chongqing monorail famously passes directly through a residential building – a unique photo opportunity. Finally, visit Eling Creative Park (Eling Erchang), a former printing factory turned into an artsy creative zone with galleries, cafes and a great view of the Yangtze River. Overnight in Chongqing.Day 6: Departure from Chongqing
After breakfast, at the scheduled time, your driver will transfer you to Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport or the railway station according to your train or flight departure time. End of tour.
