Zhejiang

Zhejiang is a charming province in eastern China – a land of misty lakes, ancient water towns, and green mountains.

West Lake in Hangzhou is a must-see scenic spot with peaceful views. Walk along willow-lined shores, cross ancient bridges, and watch the morning mist rise over still waters – just as poets have done for over a thousand years.

I highly recommend visiting Wuzhen, a classic ancient water town. You can wander old stone bridges and cruise along quiet water lanes to feel authentic Jiangnan style. Black-tiled roofs, wooden windows, and lanterns reflected in dark canals – this is the China of paintings and poems.

But Zhejiang is more than water towns.
You can also explore grand mountains – like Mount Mogan or Mount Tiantai – and taste fresh local dishes: West Lake vinegar fish, Longjing shrimp, and delicate sweet rice cakes.

Slow down. Breathe deeply. Let Jiangnan embrace you.
