Day 1: Arrive in Shanghai & City Highlights
Your personal driver will meet you at Shanghai Pudong or Hongqiao airport/train station with a name sign. First, visit City God Temple, a traditional temple complex with lively markets and snack streets.
Optional evening activities: Take the elevator to the observation deck of Jin Mao Tower or Shanghai World Financial Center for panoramic views of the city, or take a Huangpu River Cruise to enjoy the stunning night skyline. Overnight in Shanghai.
Day 2: Shanghai → Nanjing → Changzhou
After breakfast, take a high-speed train to Nanjing. First, explore Confucius Temple Commercial Street along the Qinhuai River, where you can try local snacks and buy souvenirs. Then visit Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, the grand memorial to the father of modern China. In the afternoon, drive to Changzhou and check in at Oriental Salt Lake Resort, a unique cultural resort themed around Taoist culture. Overnight in Changzhou.
Day 3: Changzhou → Wuxi → Suzhou → Wuzhen
After breakfast, drive to Wuxi and visit Yuantouzhu Scenic Area, known as the "Best Place to View Taihu Lake". Enjoy the beautiful lake scenery and cherry blossoms (in spring). Then drive to Suzhou and visit Lion Grove Garden, one of the four famous classical gardens in Suzhou, famous for its intricate rock formations. In the afternoon, transfer to Wuzhen and explore Wuzhen Xizha. Stay overnight inside the scenic area to enjoy the magical night view when all the lanterns are lit. Overnight in Wuzhen.
Day 4: Wuzhen → HangzhouWake up early to enjoy the peaceful morning in Wuzhen before the crowds arrive. Visit Wuzhen Dongzha, the more authentic and less commercialized section of Wuzhen. Then drive to Hangzhou. Take a scenic cruise on West Lake, enjoying the beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. After the cruise, walk along Qinghefang Ancient Street, a historic pedestrian street with traditional shops and snack stalls
.Optional evening activity: Watch the spectacular "Songcheng Eternal Love" stage show, which brings 1,000 years of Hangzhou's history to life. Overnight in Hangzhou.
Day 5: Hangzhou → Nanxun → Zhouzhuang → Shanghai
After breakfast, drive to Nanxun Ancient Town, a less crowded but equally beautiful water town with magnificent mansions and gardens. Then drive to Zhouzhuang Ancient Town, known as the "No.1 Water Town in China". Explore the ancient town with its stone bridges and riverside houses. In the evening, drive back to Shanghai. Overnight in Shanghai.
Day 6: Shanghai City Tour & Departure
Start your day with a walk along The Bund, the most famous waterfront in Shanghai, lined with historic European-style buildings. Then stroll down Nanjing Road, China's busiest shopping street, for some last-minute shopping. At the scheduled time, your driver will transfer you to Shanghai airport or train station for your departure.
