Day 1: Arrive in Chengdu
Arrive in Chengdu from your home city (by flight or train). Your personal driver will meet you at Chengdu Shuangliu Airport, Tianfu Airport or the railway station and transfer you to your hotel in downtown Chengdu. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city on your own – perhaps try some hotpot or stroll along Jinli Ancient Street. Overnight in Chengdu.Day 2: Chengdu – Mount Emei – Golden Summit (Jinding) – Emei Mid-Mountain Hotel
After breakfast, drive to Mount Emei (approx. 2 hours). Take the scenic shuttle bus up the mountain, then transfer to the cable car to reach the Golden Summit (Jinding) at 3,079 meters. Here you will see the towering Golden Buddha (Ten Directions Samantabhadra statue) and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, sea of clouds (weather permitting), and maybe even the "Buddhist halo". After exploring, take the cable car and shuttle bus down to a mid-mountain hotel. Overnight on Mount Emei (mid-mountain area).Day 3: Emei Mid-Mountain – Leshan Giant Buddha – Chengdu
After breakfast, descend from Mount Emei and drive to Leshan (approx. 1 hour). Visit the Leshan Giant Buddha, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Carved into a cliff face at the confluence of three rivers, this 71-meter-tall stone Buddha took 90 years to complete (8th‑9th century). You can either hike down the cliffside staircase to view it up close, or take a river cruise for a full view of the statue from the water. Afternoon, drive back to Chengdu (approx. 2 hours). Overnight in Chengdu.Day 4: Chengdu – Mount Qingcheng – Dujiangyan – Night Tour of Nanqiao – Chengdu
After breakfast, drive to Mount Qingcheng (approx. 1 hour), one of the birthplaces of Taoism and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the Front Mountain with its ancient Taoist temples, serene forests and winding paths. In the afternoon, visit the Dujiangyan Irrigation System, built around 256 BC. Learn how this genius hydraulic system controls the Minjiang River without a dam. In the evening, stroll along Nanqiao Bridge, a beautifully lit covered bridge over the river. Return to Chengdu for overnight.Day 5: Chengdu – Panda Base – Sanxingdui Museum – Sichuan Opera Show
After breakfast, drive to the Chengdu Panda Breeding Research Base (approx. 40 minutes). See giant pandas of different ages, as well as red pandas, in a natural-like environment. Morning feeding time is the best time to see them active. Afternoon, drive to Guanghan (approx. 1 hour) to visit the Sanxingdui Museum. This museum houses mysterious artifacts from the ancient Shu civilization (over 3,000 years old), including giant bronze masks, a bronze sacred tree, and gold staffs. In the evening, enjoy a Sichuan Opera performance featuring the legendary face-changing (Bian Lian), fire-spitting and puppet shows. Overnight in Chengdu.Day 6: Kuanzhai Alley – Chunxi Road / Taikoo Li – Transfer to Tianfu Airport for Departure
After breakfast, visit Kuanzhai Alley (Wide and Narrow Alleys), a historic district of beautifully restored Qing-dynasty courtyards, now filled with teahouses, boutique shops and local eateries. Then head to the bustling Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li, Chengdu's premier shopping and fashion district, where you can also see the famous giant panda sculpture climbing the IFS building. At the scheduled time, your driver will transfer you to Chengdu Tianfu International Airport (approx. 1 hour) for your departure flight. End of tour.
