Day 1: Arrive in Chongqing
Arrive in Chongqing from your home city (by flight or train). Your personal driver will meet you at the airport or railway station and transfer you to your hotel in downtown Chongqing. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city on your own – perhaps try some authentic hotpot or stroll along Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street. Overnight in Chongqing.Day 2: Chongqing – Jiuli City – Wujiang River Gallery (Jiuli Section) – Zhuoshui Ancient Town
After breakfast, drive to Jiuli City (approx. 3 hours), a grand cultural park dedicated to the Miao ethnic group. Explore the impressive Miao-style architecture, watch traditional performances, and learn about Miao legends. Then enjoy a scenic cruise on the Wujiang River Gallery (Jiuli section), with its emerald waters and steep cliffs. Afternoon, continue to Zhuoshui Ancient Town, a well-preserved ancient town with a history dating back to the Tang Dynasty. Stroll across the wind-rain bridge, one of the longest covered bridges in Asia, and wander through the old stone streets. Overnight in Zhuoshui or nearby.Day 3: Puhua Underground River – Hewan Mountain Village – Biancheng
After breakfast, visit Puhua Underground River. Enter a hidden cave and take a boat ride through the dark river, passing through strange rock formations and narrow gorges, with daylight appearing at the end of the tunnel. Then drive to Hewan Mountain Village, a remote Tujia village situated along a pristine river bend. This hidden gem is surrounded by green mountains and traditional stilt houses. In the afternoon, arrive at Biancheng (Border Town), the famous setting of Shen Congwen's novel "Border Town". Located at the junction of Hunan, Guizhou and Chongqing, take a traditional "La'du" (ferry boat) across the river and visit the old town. Overnight in Biancheng.Day 4: 45 Zigzag Turns – Chuanhegai – Changpu Prairie
After breakfast, conquer the thrilling "45 Zigzag Turns" road, a winding mountain highway with 45 sharp bends offering spectacular views. Ascend to Chuanhegai, a high-altitude karst plateau (over 1,200 meters) with rolling hills and unique rock formations. Continue to Changpu Prairie, a vast, untouched natural grassland where you can enjoy the fresh air, wildflowers and peaceful scenery. This area is perfect for photography and relaxation. Overnight in Youyang or nearby.Day 5: Youyang – Fairy Mountain – Three Natural Bridges
After breakfast, drive from Youyang to Wulong County. Visit Fairy Mountain (Xiannü Mountain), a beautiful alpine grassland area where you can take a stroll among the rolling meadows and forest trails. In the afternoon, explore the Three Natural Bridges (Tian Sheng San Qiao), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These three massive natural limestone arches were formed over millions of years and featured in the movie "Transformers 4". Walk down the valley floor to appreciate their immense scale. Overnight in Wulong.Day 6: Wulong – Jinfo Mountain – Chongqing
After breakfast, drive to Jinfo Mountain (Jinfo Shan), also known as Golden Buddha Mountain, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Take the cable car up the mountain and explore its unique karst features, including ancient rock formations, bamboo seas, and alpine lakes. Visit the famous "Jinfo Mountain Temple" and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. In the afternoon, drive back to Chongqing city (approx. 2.5 hours). Overnight in Chongqing.Day 7: Departure from Chongqing
After breakfast, at the scheduled time, your driver will transfer you to Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport or the railway station according to your flight or train departure time. End of tour.
